Unlike You – Paul Wambua

Unlike You – Paul Wambua

Unlike You – Paul Wambua
I liked you, truly
The liking got impetus, aroused lust
We bedded each other spontaneously.
The momentum took pace
You invited me for a booze
And I deliriously joined
Then the drinking opera followed.
The next morning the liking turned unlikely
A revelation of yourself ensued, unschooled
It disjointed the enjoined; an unfortunate trajectory.
Now etched is abhorrence on our previously, otherwise, good moments
I’m seated with you without a whisper, without a mutter
The silence is echoing in my head
It’s no longer what it was
It has changed. Done!
